An affiliated app is one your healthcare organization has a formal agreement with. If an app is affiliated, you'll see a banner on the review page when you share your information that says the app is affiliated.
You should still review the privacy policy and terms and conditions before sharing information.
Your MyChart password is never seen by an app, and you can revoke access if you think your information has been misused.
